Damen Yachting has delivered the third unit in its 60-metre Amels 60 series as Khalidah, a name meaning "immortal" or "eternal". The yacht will be based in Vlissingen Port until she undertakes her maiden voyage.
The 830GT superyacht features exterior design by Espen Øino, with a slightly flared bow, long lines of glazing along the main and upper decks and distinctive geometric windows amidships. Similarly to Come Together, Winch Design is responsible for the interior of hull three.

On Khalidah, the owner has opted for ocean-themed art works and an ambient music and lighting system that is controlled by a touch of a button throughout the yacht.
The sundeck benefits from a spa pool with a swim-jet function and a cinema set-up. The touch-and-go helipad can also be used as a sunbathing spot or a unique gym area. Elsewhere, two tenders may be stored on the foredeck.
Joppe Osté, project manager at Damen Yachting called the hybrid propulsion "the best solution solution" for reducing emissions, noise and vibrations while benefitting from reduced fuel costs. “It also allows you to cruise up to a certain speed without using the main engines, solely cruising on the generators,” he added.
Speaking about Khalidah, owner's representative Nick Flashman, director and founder of Deeside Maritime, said he had worked on several new builds from Damen Yachting and Amels over the years. "It was this experience and knowledge that the owner and family office were looking for when appointing someone to not only oversee the crucial final stages of the build but to take the operational management of the yacht forward beyond delivery,” said Flashman.
He added: "Today’s delivery represents one of the more significant milestones as, together with the yard and the owner’s team, we mark the move from build towards onboard enjoyment.”
