Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo has announced the delivery of the first unit in its SX100 crossover series in the Asia-Pacific. The 30.5-metre model was first presented at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival and plugs the gap between the SX88 and the SX112.
Much like the larger SX112, the SX100 features an exterior by Zuccon International Project and shares the same staple features such as cut-out bulwarks, a reverse windscreen, fold-down sea terraces and a crane integrated into the superstructure.
One key departure from its siblings, however, is the owner's cabin, which is positioned forward on the main deck. The remaining three guest cabins are located on the lower deck with further provision for a crew of five.
The interior has been handled by Piero Lissoni, who makes use of large mirrors in the common areas that enhance the feeling of space and reflect natural light, paired with light neutral shades. Two internal staircases are key to design of the SX100: the first of which is made of chromed metal and connects a lounge on the lower deck with the lounge on the main deck, while the second connects the main deck to the flybridge.
A 5.7-metre tender can be stored on the aft deck and the space becomes a waterside sun lounge with the tender launched.
Power comes from a quartet of Volvo D13 engines delivering a top speed of 23 knots and a range of 1600 nautical miles at 10 knots.
According to BOATPro, Sanlorenzo has an impressive 60 yachts on order or actively under construction.
This includes the Italian shipyard's new flagship, the 73Steel. The 1900GT model entered outfitting in December 2023 and is scheduled for delivery in 2025.
