Project update – Sunseeker 155 superyacht leaves shed

28 January 2014 • Written by Tom Isitt

After two years under construction, the Sunseeker 155 Yacht left her build shed at the Sunseeker International shipyard last weekend to move into her final production stage.

The new Sunseeker, which measures 47.25m in length, is the largest to date from the Poole shipyard. The company believes this makes them 'the only production boat builder in the world to be manufacturing a range of boats from 40 to 155 feet in length under a single brand'.

The flagship tri-deck yacht, which is being built for Formula One legend Eddie Jordan, will have a top speed of 26 knots and a 4,500 nautical mile range. She will accommodate 12 guests and 10 crewmembers, and feature inset ship's balconies, transverse garaging of tenders and toys, including a private beach club with lower deck dayroom, as well as a folding platform and tender docking.
