German design studio and consultancy firm Dölker + Voges has presented a concept for "the perfect charter yacht", which draws on research and development conducted in partnership with yacht management and brokerage firm Hill Robinson to deliver the ultimate platform for life at sea.
The firm has introduced the 60-metre concept as an option for buyers who are interested in a yacht capable of covering running costs, while also making a profit from a healthy charter programme.
According to Hill Robinson, the yacht centres around a flexible cabin configuration that would suit a variety of charter parties, is easily configurable and accounts for sleeping children in adjacent cabins to their parents. Al fresco living is also integral to the yacht's design, with a pool and sun loungers on the aft, as well as a beach club with fold-down swim terraces that benefits from direct access to the spa.
Elsewhere, the yacht would host an entertainment lounge with games and large-screen television, and an expansive sun deck with a barbecue and lounge seating.
“We gathered precious insight from brokers, captains, and clients about their perception of the perfect charter yacht and composed an extensive brief for Dölker + Voges," explained Nicolas Fry, head of charter management at Hill Robinson.
The build shipyard is at the buyer’s choice, with indicative pricing from European shipyards at €65 million.
Dölker + Voges is best known for its work on 85.9-metre Aquijo and 90-metre Norn.
