Elsewhere, the covered cockpit hosts a bar, sofa and large dining area. The swim platform at the stern and exhaust grilles have also been redesigned with the grilles now “disguised” as the nameplate.
Bad Boys is currently being built on-spec at the yard’s Rome facilities, with the boat expected to make its debut at the 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival.
Speaking about the new design, Otam’s sales and communication manager, Matteo Belardinelli said: “This has been an ideal project for us as the client requested total freedom of expression and unprecedented performance.”
Accommodation is for five guests in two double en suite cabins and one single cabin on the lower deck. Other design features include an open space galley on the same level as the cabins.
Powered by twin MTU 1825hp engines, the Otam 58 can reach a top speed of 55 knots and a cruising speed of 48 knots.
Construction on the second hull to sport the updated exterior has also begun, with lamination on the hull now completed.
