Turkish yard Numarine has launched the 37.2-metre Orpheus from its Kocaeli site. The yacht belongs to the largest model in the Numarine fleet, the 37XP, which began in 2021 with the launch of Alaia.
The model is characterised by a full displacement steel hull for long-range and offshore cruising, with Umberto Tagliavini responsible for naval architecture and Can Yalman leading exterior and interior design. A standout feature is the flybridge, which measures just under 10 metres and offers 83 square metres of open space.
Accommodation is across six guest cabins, including a main deck master suite and an upper deck VIP cabin. The latter benefits from an aft-facing bed and direct access to a terrace that can be configured as a place for sunbathing, outdoor sports, parties or underway tender storage. Another al fresco space is the beach club, featuring a bathing platform and a water-level lounge.
Orpheus has a range of 6,000 nautical miles at eight knots, which "places her on par with the world's best expedition yachts" in her class, according to the yard.
According to BOATPro, Orpheus is one of nine 37XP models on the water. A popular model, the 37XP is soon to be usurped by a new flagship, with the 39-metre 40MXP scheduled for delivery this year.
