Turkish yacht designer Aras Kazar has released his latest 66 metre multihull concept called NOY. Inspired by the volumes and stability of an ark, the yacht has a trimaran hull with an impressive 76 metre beam.
NOY would be powered by solar and electric propulsion with the added benefit of hydrofoil technology that will be able to take her top speed to 24 knots while maximising efficiency and reducing drag. The hull would be built in aluminium, while the superstructure would be a mix of fibreglass and tempered glass.
Kazar envisioned the yacht with 360-degree views thanks to an excess of glass in the overheads and bulkheads. Accommodation is split across six guest cabins and three master cabins with a complement of 16 crew.
Onboard highlights include an indoor and outdoor pool and a wellness zone that comprises a Zen garden, gym and sauna. Elsewhere, NOY is home to a cinema suite and an aft deck balcony that can double as a swim platform.
Speaking about the perfect client for this concept, Kazar said "it would perfectly fit someone who already has wild dreams and a big vision."
The release of NOY comes shortly after Kazar presented the futuristic 150 metre ONO earlier this year.
"My designs have always been minimalist and futuristic," said Kazar. "I love sharp edges rather than lots of curves. I got inspired by Noah's Ark. I wanted to design something unique and almost indestructible even. The flatness and the extreme width combined with the hydrofoil technology means this massive trimaran will always stand."
