Turkish yard Mengi-Yay has launched the second hull in its Virtus 47 line in Tuzla, Istanbul.
Dubbed NB102, the 47.3 metre steel and aluminium motor yacht has been moved to the yard’s Pendik Marintürk facilities before its final outfitting and the installation of hardware and exterior furniture.
This comes after the first hull, officially christened La Vie, was launched in April 2022.
RINA classified, hull number two is a semi-displacement motor yacht with a gross tonnage below 500GT. She features an exterior design penned by VYD Studio, while a stately interior by Red Yacht Design sleeps up to eight guests.
Amidships, the NB102 offers a huge living space, featuring a spacious main saloon with openable balconies on either side. Aft, the yacht features storage for all manner of tenders including a Castoldi 23, a 4.8 metre ROAM boat and a 3.4 metre rescue boat.
Other highlights include a large flybridge with comfortable seating in a circular formation aft and panoramic views over the ocean. She also features a 6.8 metre swimming pool on her aft deck.
The third yacht in the Virtus 47 line – the NB100 – is currently under construction and is set to hit the water in June 2023.
