Logica Yachts’ newest design for the Logica 120 packs all the features of its lauded big sister - the 44.8 metre rule-breaking superyacht Logica 147 - into a smaller 37 metre yacht.
An apt second act from the yard since breaking ties with Benetti Sail Division, the Logica 120 has been designed in collaboration with Brenta Design, just like her predecessor, with naval architecture from PLANA.
The Logica 120 builds upon the elegant, modern explorer yacht styling of the Logica line. She also promises explorer yacht performance with a transoceanic range of 5,000 nautical miles and technical specifications similar to that of a larger yacht.
In an official statement, the yard claims a clever design approach has lead to a rational distribution of space, resulting in uncompromised comfort.
"The balance between external and internal areas has been enhanced and, thanks to the extension of the external decks, the guests can enjoy the experience of living on a terrace facing the sea.
"The large windows, open-plan spaces and airy ambience, provide a sense of connection with the outside environment that is rare on a motoryacht of this size."
She will accommodate 10 guests with a main deck owner’s stateroom. The galley is on the main deck for easy service, and the Logica 120 can accommodate five crew members.
The stern garage will host a 6.2 metre tender as well as two personal watercraft. An aerial view of the general arrangement shows that the Logica 120 will also have also foredeck swimming pool.
To be built with a high tensile steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the new Logica 120 aims to deliver big boat features, accommodations and long-range performance in a smaller package – and therefore a smaller price tag.
