First 31m Lazzara UHV 100 takes shape in Antalya

Construction is well underway on the first hull in Lazzara Yachts’ UHV (Ultra High Volume) 100 series, which has now begun interior outfitting and painting following the successful installation of the superstructure.

The 30.5-metre superyacht is being built on spec with delivery scheduled for September 2024.

"I was a dealer of several European shipyards in the past, and as a broker sold most brands available in the US," said David Galante, executive vice president of Lazzara Yachts. "And I believe the engineering and construction of the UHV 100 surpasses many explorer yachts, with a fit and finish that is only found in superyachts over 70 metres."

The UHV 100 follows in the footsteps of the UHV 87, which debuted at Cannes Yachting Festival 2022. Both models focus on high-volume layouts with a distinctive trompe l'oeil exterior that gives the illusion of an additional deck.

A key difference of the new model is the addition of a six-person dip pool on the foredeck. The main deck is home to the owner’s cabin, while four guest cabins are found on the lower deck. Meanwhile, the upper deck features a "huge pilot house" alongside a full-beam saloon that leads out onto an al fresco lounging and dining space.

The yacht has a provisional top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a draught of two metres.

The yacht will have a beam of 7.2 metres

According to Lazzara, every element of the yacht has been built with longevity and quality in mind. Particular attention has been paid to the wiring, hoses and ensuring a reduction in onboard noise and vibration.

The yacht is being built in epoxy and e-glass and will be fitted with twin Volvo Penta engines as standard. Buyers can choose between an additional two engine packages.

The US-headquartered shipyard recently began construction on a 21.3-metre power catamaran known as the LPC 300.
