Ibiza JoySail regatta announces dates for 2025

The fifth edition of the Ibiza JoySail regatta will return to the Balearic Islands between 18 and 21 September 2025. Registration will open in January and be invitation-only, as in the previous edition. 

Held last month, the fourth edition saw eighteen superyachts navigate unpredictable winds and challenging routes, rounding Formentera, Espardell Nature Park and the island of Es Vedrá.

Moat, L'Hippocampe, Bliss and Gelliceaux, Open Season and Maximus rose to the tops of their classes and were honoured in a prize giving ceremony on the final day.

"This race isn't just action on the sea, but also a wonderful combination of activities on the water and on land, and people seem to really like it," said race director Nacho Postigo. "The amazing thing is that there's great interaction between all the yachts. Here we're all family and friends."

This year's edition was also a record-breaker, featuring its largest competitor so far: the 59-metre Maximus, delivered by Dutch yard Vitters in 2023.
