The 59.1 metre Oceanco superyacht Helios has emerged charter fit from an 18-month major refit at La Ciotat.
The yacht underwent a complete exterior restoration, with teak decking replaced and restored and a new exterior paint from top to bottom, emphasising Helios’ striking white and blue hull.
Elsewhere, the lighting and A/V equipment have been updated across all decks and all stonework has been professionally cleaned and polished.
The interior meanwhile has been complete “reimagined”, with soft furnishings updated throughout, all guest cabins reupholstered, and new carpets fitted.
Extensive mechanical and technical updates were also carried out, including a fully integrated bridge update. The massive 30.48 metre sundeck was remodelled and is now complete with an oversized Jacuzzi, bar and sunpads.
Named after the sun god of Greek mythology, Helios is available for charter with Edmiston this summer. Accommodation on board is for a total 12 guests across a full-beam master, four doubles and a twin. The crew quarters has space for 17 crew.
Helios comes complete with a collection of contemporary art and Fjord 44 Chase boat, with a full-time crew of two. The yacht is even equipped with a foam machine, nightclub set up and large screen TV inside a beach house interior.
Designed by The A Group, Helios was first delivered in 2001 and was most recently sold in 2018.
