The fourth unit in the Mangusta Oceano 50 series has been launched from Italy-based Overmarine Group's recently enlarged shipyard in Pisa.
The flagship in the long-range line, the Mangusta Oceano 50, is a 499GT displacement yacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Interior and exterior design is by Alberto Mancini while the yacht's naval architecture was created by Pierluigi Ausonio and Overmarine.
Highlights include generous interior and exterior spaces heightened by floor-to-ceiling windows and special opening systems and solutions. This is demonstrated across a number of areas, including the large beach club which comprises three aft and side doors that open up completely to convert into three connected terraces on the water.
Meanwhile, the bow area features a stylish cockpit, located above the garage. Once the tender has been launched, access can be gained to a 6.5-metre by 2.6-metre pool fitted with a special counterflow swimming system and hydromassage.
Located on the main deck, the master's suite is fitted with an exclusive fully automated balcony overlooking the sea. On the lower deck, the owner has chosen a configuration with five guest cabins, including a full-beam VIP cabin with separate access.
Power derives from two MTU 12V 2000 M86, 1700hp engines that allow her to reach a speed of 16 knots and a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 11 knots.
This follows the launch of the first unit in a new line of maxi open yachts – known as the Mangusta Maxi Open 132E – earlier this month. The next Mangusta Oceano 50 available for sale is now hull number seven, with delivery expected in summer 2027.
