First Monte Carlo Yachts 86 set to be ready for July

23 May 2013 • Written by Raphael Montigneaux

We were the first to announce the construction of the new Monte Carlo Yachts 86 in our Global Order Book last year. The new flagship of the Italian brand, part of the French group Bénéteau, will be launched this summer.

Monte Carlo Yachts has previously launched 76, 70 and 65 models. Based on the same successful design from Nuvolari & Lenard, the 26.3m composite motor yacht MCY 86 will offer more volume and an higher level of customization than her previous smaller sisters. You will find again the artfully arranged lounge foredeck, but also side balconies, a flybridge with Jacuzzi and hardtop, and other details usually seen on larger yachts.

Famous French and Italian furniture from Hermès, Armani and Poltrona Frau will compose the contemporary interior entirely customized to the owner wishes. Multiple layouts will be possible for all decks accommodating six to 10 guests in three- to five-cabin versions.

Scheduled to be delivered during a private ceremony in July, the first MCY 86 will make her official debut at the Festival de la Plaisance of Cannes in September.
