Extra Yachts, a brand of the Palumbo Group, has launched its second 30 metre X99 Fast motor yacht in Ancona.

Similar to the model's first unit, which splashed in February earlier this year, the second instalment features in-house naval architecture by Palumbo Superyachts with an exterior by Guida Design. She has been christened Mini K2.

The X99 Fast offers generous interior volumes paired with a 75-square-metre stern area that slopes downward towards the swim platform to create an open-air beach club. Folding balconies, a sunbathing and lounge area and a table seating up to 12 complete this space, while a second sun lounge can be found on the sun deck above.

Accommodation is for ten guests across four cabins, housed within the model's 7.15 metre beam. The yacht also features a planing hull with accompanying spray rails made of carbon fibre composites.

According to Extra Yachts, the X99 Fast series has been optimised for the American market, with both units so far sold to owners based in Miami.

Twin 2,600hp MTU engines paired with water jets deliver a top speed of 37 knots at full throttle. Meanwhile, a 1.5 metre draft makes her well suited to cruising in shallower regions such as the Bahamas.
