Baglietto has announced the sale of the tenth hull in its popular, Stefano Vafiadis-designed DOM 133 series. This marks the first unit sold to an Australian client, represented by Perry James of Baglietto Australia. Delivery is scheduled for 2026.
With a name borrowed from the Latin "Domus", meaning home, the series interprets the "home on the water" ethos with a focus on high-volume interiors and comfortable long-range cruising. This particular model's customisations include replacing the swimming pool with greater storage space (to tailor the yacht for "long sailing") and the installation of a table in the galley area for "informal family breakfasts".
"This new DOM133 was born with the precise intention of its owner to sail the seas all over the world and has been highly customised for the target market, without losing anything of the all-Italian style that has always characterised the Baglietto brand," said Baglietto CCO Fabio Ermetto.
James added: "GLI Yachts is honoured that our long-term clients have chosen to entrust us with representing them in this pivotal milestone purchase. Being the oldest and most respected brokerage house in Australia, we are extremely privileged to represent Baglietto in Australia and New Zealand as a new era in South Pacific yachting commences."
Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, the DOM 133 can reach a maximum speed of 17 knots.
This follows the reveal of the first in-build images of Baglietto's seventh T52, designed by Francesco Paszkowski.
