Custom Line, a brand of Ferretti Group, has announced the launch of two superyachts from its shipyard in Ancona, Italy.
The first launch, the 22nd hull in the Navetta 30 series, measures 28.4 metres and was commissioned by an owner based in the EMEA region. This model has been tailored to the "younger members" of the owners' family and is conceived as an "authentic seaside villa" with informal, vibrant interiors by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.
Imagery is undisclosed, though the yard picked out details such as yellow beanbag chairs in the skylounge and Silk Georgette marble in the owner's areas. The first Navetta 30 was delivered in 2020 and has proven to be one of the brand's most popular models to date, with 46 yachts in build or on the water according to BOATPro. Other highlights include exterior design by Filippo Salvetti, a 7.3-metre beam and a 34-square-metre cockpit to be used as both a living and dining area.
The second launch was the 33rd Navetta 33, another prolific model, which hit the water in an exclusive celebration shared by several generations of the owner family (also based in the EMEA region). Designed primarily as a charter yacht, this unit is capable of accommodating large parties with "optimised" convivial areas, in-built storage units, Pullman berths in the guest cabins, and additional cocktail bars on the sundeck. The 33-metre displacement yacht had both its exterior and interior design completed in-house, by the Product Strategy Committee and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department respectively.
Vertical oak ribbing has been used for the first time on this Navetta 33 unit, including on the main saloon wall and the bed headboard in the master cabin. The owner also requested the colour green as a design leitmotiv, with the colour manifesting in shades of sage, thyme and jade throughout the yacht. The owner's cabin also features a shower cubicle decorated in Irish Green marble, as well as two basins sculpted from a block of Crema Delicato milled marble.
BOAT International was recently invited on board Custom Line's flagship, which was delivered last year and debuted at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show. The 50-metre is the first all-aluminium build from the Italian brand, known for its GRP construction, and comes with a full-deck owner's apartment complete with its own terrace.
