Custom Line, part of the Ferretti Group, has announced the launch of hull No 5 of their 124 series (37.8m) superyacht, their largest planing-hulled yacht.
The new hull features a restyled profile, thanks to a close collaboration between Studio Zuccon International Project and AYT&D (Ferretti Group’s research, design and product development centre). It differs from previous Custom Line 124s in that it features a hard top sheltering the sun deck – an feature specifically requested by the owner and installed for the first time on this model. The main deck salon has also been extensively restyled with the addition of a large bar area on port side.
This yacht is fitted with two MTU 12V 4000 M93L 3510hp engines, ensuring sparkling performance and a maximum speed of 27.5 knots, and a cruising speed of 23.5 knots.
'This is another very important day for Ferretti and particularly for this model, which is the cutting edge of the Custom Line planing line and of the entire brand', explains Mario Chessa, the Ferretti Group's EMEA Regional Director. 'We are proud to be delivering a new hull of our flagship in Europe, a historical market where Ferretti is recognized as the synonym of excellence in yachting.'
