Bering Yachts has turned the hull of the first 33 metre semi-custom Bering 107 superyacht, signifying the next stage of construction.
“This is an important landmark for Bering,” said Bering founder Alexei Mikhailov. “After laying the keel at the end of 2020, the turning of the steel hull means that we’re now ready to move on with the assembly and outfitting of the first Bering 107, which is on schedule for delivery in October 2022.”
The yacht was sold in 2020 and is described as a “long-range cruiser” with a full-displacement steel hull.
Combining the rugged exterior of an explorer yacht with the “contemporary styling” and comfort of a superyacht, the B107 was designed in-house.
Key features include living spaces customised to suit the owner and their family’s needs, with a total of four dining areas and a sauna.
Accommodation for a total of 10 guests include a master stateroom on the upper deck with a private terrace and far-reaching ocean views. A second full 7.55 metre beam master sits on the main deck, with direct access to the spa pool on the foredeck. An additional three guest cabins sit on the lower deck. The crew quarters comprises three crew cabins, a captain’s cabin and a dedicated laundry and pantry on the lower deck.
The Bering 107 is set to have a range of 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of nine knots. Delivery is scheduled for October 2022.
