Benetti launches 34m Oasis yacht Opus

24 July 2023 • Written by Dea Jusufi

Benetti has announced the launch of its latest 34.4-metre yacht from its shipyard in Viareggio, Italy. Known as Opus, she marks the sixth unit launched from the Oasis 34M line in two years.

Exteriors are by British studio RWD while interiors are owed to New York-based architecture studio Bonetti and Kozerski, in an ongoing collaboration for the Oasis 34M series. Opus is differentiated from previous units, however, in her metallic grey hull and superstructure, paired with a “Shark Grey” finish that carves out the main and upper decks.

Accommodation is offered for 10 guests across five cabins, alongside space for a crew of seven. The interiors have been customised according to the owner’s own style, although details have not yet been disclosed.

Opus is also fitted with the series’ trademark Oasis Deck, replacing the traditional beach club with a tiered, open-air sun lounge. Designed to convert the area into a “vast convivial oasis”, the Oasis Deck features a fold-out wing design, an integrated glass-front dip pool and an unobstructed 270-degree view off the stern, even from the main deck saloon.

With a vertical bow for increased hull efficiency and twin MTU engines, the series has a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and a top speed of 16 knots. According to BOAT Pro, another Oasis 34M is due for delivery in November of this year.
