Italian yard Benetti has delivered the 47 metre custom superyacht Bacchanal with a ceremony at the Viareggio shipyard in Italy. The new owner of Bacchanal is a repeat Mexican client of Benetti, who ordered the yacht back in May 2017.
Prior to last week's handover, the superyacht had been officially launched by Benetti in the summer of 2019. Bacchanal, previously known as FB703, was constructed from a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. She features exterior design and naval architecture by the yard’s in-house team, while the interior décor was penned by Mexican designer Mauricio Gómez de Tudd.
Accommodation on board Bacchanal is for 12 guests split across six cabins. The main-deck owner’s cabin features a central bathroom, his and hers wardrobes, a private study and veranda. Four guest cabins on the lower deck and an upper-deck VIP complete the guest accommodation, while the crew quarters allows for a staff of up to seven people.
Key features include a wide-open exterior deck layout spread across four decks, which will allow the owner to fully enjoy the marine environment. The custom pool on the Sun Deck meanwhile is decorated with mosaic by Sicis.
Bacchanal is powered by two MTU 12V engines and has a cruising speed of 14 knots, with a transatlantic range of 4,000 miles at 10 knots.
