Just three months after Baglietto presented its T60 flagship at the Monaco Yacht Show, the shipyard has announced the sale of the first hull in the series.
Construction on the 60 metre model will commence at the beginning of next year for a scheduled 2026 delivery. The yard also revealed it had commissioned a speculative second hull to begin construction soon after work begins on the new order.
The T60 project features the design talents of Francesco Paszkowski, who will also style the first unit's interior alongside Margherita Casprini. The model is based on the same lines as its preceding T52 design, but has been softened owing to the refined side buttresses that "[blend] in with the outer ceiling, while the black glass stripe incorporating the portholes results in an even more streamlined profile," according to the shipyard.
Floor-to-ceiling windows that feature on both the main saloon and the upper deck have the ability to be opened fully and concealed to create a vast indoor-outdoor space. Other features include a 60-square-metre beach club featuring a swimming pool, bar and lounge, that leads to the main saloon via a staircase. The resulting effect is 100 square metres of outdoor space spread across two levels.
The owner's suite is positioned on the main deck and can be accessed via a glass lift, but the shipyard also offers a second configuration where the upper deck is dedicated solely to the owner's apartment. The remaining guest accommodation is configured as two VIP and two guest cabins located on the main deck, with a fifth guest cabin situated on the lower deck. Further accommodation sleeps a crew of 13.
The upper deck has a Jacuzzi and sunbathing area but guests will find themselves drawn to the sun deck where a 165-square-metre terrace offers a central dining table, a bar and a swimming pool with 360-degree views.
A helicopter landing pad allows guests to come and go as they please in total privacy, or alternatively, a tender garage houses two tenders and two jet skis forward on the main deck.
"It is difficult to hide the great sense of pride we feel for securing this sale," said Baglietto CCO Fabio Ermetto: "This model, I believe, has all the features the market is looking for today, but it also opens new horizons for the recreational boating industry, by implementing highly innovative, unprecedented onboard solutions."
Looking ahead, CEO Diego Michele Deprati added: "The T60 starts a new chapter in the Seagull brand's extraordinary history, and marks the beginning of a new era."
The T60 is equipped with two CAT C32 ACERT engines that will push her to a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. A hybrid propulsion system can be installed at the request of the owner.
The news follows a string of activity from the Italian shipyard in 2022, with eight orders already confirmed for its T52, with the first hull yet to hit the water, and seven orders signed for the DOM 133.
