55 Metre Admiral Superyacht Geco Delivered

6 August 2020 • Written by Miranda Blazeby

Italian shipyard Admiral has delivered its 55 metre superyacht Geco.

The news follows the yacht's launch last month which was live-streamed on the Virtual BOAT Show from The Italian Sea Group’s shipyard in Marina di Carrara.

Built in aluminium as one of the yard’s Admiral S-Force series, the motor yacht was sold in October 2018 with the buyer introduced by IYC.

Accommodation is for 12 guests in six cabins comprising a main deck master suite with a full beam VIP suite and four more cabins below deck, all with full en suite bathroom facilities.

A full beam main deck saloon and dining area with large windows fill the yacht with natural light and will come with all the amenities today’s sophisticated guests expect. Meanwhile, the upper deck features a large circular sun bathing/entertainment area that can also be used as a touch-and-go helipad allowing easy access for guests at all times.

Outdoor living will be at the heart of the yacht, with appealing features including an outdoor cinema, for al fresco movie sessions, and an outdoor bar area that will serve as a social hub. The open air beach club is sure to prove extremely popular as a base for water activities and will also be home to a dining area for gourmet meals right alongside the water.

Powered by two CAT C32 Acert engines, Geco has a cruising speed of 16.5 knots and range of 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots. Geco’s top speed is an estimated 18 knots.
