Admiral Yachts, the flagship brand of The Italian Sea Group, has revealed a new 70-metre explorer yacht model. Designed inside and out by Admiral Centro Stile, highlights onboard the four-deck superyacht include a touch-and-go helipad, dedicated owner's deck and glass-walled "observatory" space.
Accommodation is across five cabins, including an entire deck dedicated to the owner with a cinema, private cabin and large indoor and outdoor lounge area with plunge pool. This deck is also where the touch-and-go helipad is found.
Guest accommodation is found on the main deck alongside the glass-walled observatory, described as a "real uniqueness for this type of yacht".
Renderings reveal a beach club arranged with indoor and outdoor sofa seating and a television screen, with lateral-opening balconies extending the explorer's 13.1-metre beam even further. Meanwhile, the yacht's toy storage encompasses a 10-metre limousine tender, a 10-metre open inflatable tender, a 5.5-metre inflatable RIB tender and three Jet Skis.
The explorer is expected to reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 6,000 nautical miles when pared back to 11.5 knots.
The news comes at a busy time for the Italian shipyard, with 13 yachts currently under construction. This includes the 82-metre Project Galileo – one of Admiral's largest builds to date and its first entry into the US market for larger superyachts.
