AB Yachts, a brand of NEXT Yacht Group, has launched the latest unit in its sportfly model the AB100. The 30.5-metre yacht was built on spec and features a subtle champagne hull. She is currently available for sale.
The series is known for its "breathtaking" speeds upwards of 50 knots, which the Viareggio-based shipyard claims can be reached "almost without noticing".
Interiors are owed to the shipyard's Centro Stile in collaboration with architect Marco Casamonti. Accommodation is across four guest cabins on the lower deck. While details are yet to be disclosed, Casamonti's style is described as "tactile", with freestanding furniture used in both the master cabin and "loft"-like main saloon. A concealed sliding door connects the aft cockpit to the saloon, creating an airy, open-plan space with 360-degree views.
The stern hosts a fully-equipped, ready-to-enjoy beach area with an "innovative AB Yachts system" for launching and hauling tenders, Jet Skis and other water toys.
Equipped with triple MAN engines and MJP waterjets, the yacht can reach a top speed of 50+ knots while cruising at 45 knots. A gyro stabilizer Seakeeper is available underway and at anchor, while a low draft of 1.3 metres allows her to cruise shallow bays and anchorages as found in the Caribbean.
According to BOATPro, AB Yachts has seven yachts currently under construction. This includes two units of the AB125, whose first unit sold before the model was officially introduced to the market.
