AB Yachts has launched its first AB 100 superyacht hull, named Spectre, ahead of a scheduled delivery this summer.
The 30 metre AB 100 is built in GRP and Carbon and will hit a maximum speed of 52 knots, thanks to her three MAN engines producing 1900 hp each and MJP waterjets. This would put Spectre firmly in the list of the world’s fastest superyachts.
With naval architecture and design completed in-house by AB Yachts, the first AB 100 yacht has been developed to bring a family feeling to its striking, sporty appearance. Outside, her hull and superstructure is painted in two different tones of metallic silver to highlight her aggressive lines.
Her outdoor areas allow guests to enjoy an exciting blast in comfort, with a second steering position on her flybridge and an L-shaped sofa and two sunbeds for guests. The foredeck of the first AB 100 hull is fitted with two coffee tables, a u-shaped sofa and a comfy sunbed.
Inside, Spectre is furnished in light grey tones and flooded with natural light on account of her large lateral windows. Her interior is divided into a lounge area, equipped with a comfortable sofa and 75” TV, and a dining area that can seat eight around a marble table.
She can accommodate eight in two guest cabins with double beds, one VIP cabin and one master cabin, all of which have private bathrooms.
The AB 100 design is the first of many new projects that the yard’s parent company, Fipa Group, is completing for the 2016 summer season.
