Seattle-based yard Delta Marine has launched its latest motor yacht, the 50 metre Arianna, previously known as hull number 164041.
This new custom composite superyacht has been entirely designed by the yard's in-house team, just like Happy Days, the other 50 metre yacht launched by Delta Marine in 2006.
The yacht's voluminous interior, one of the largest for a yacht of this size, was created by Delta Design in a Polynesian style with Balinese touches. Comfortably accommodating 12 guests, the layout includes four double guest cabins on the lower deck and a dedicated upper deck for the owner with a suite, lounge, private outdoor deck, dining area and a room that can be customised for children or family members. A gymnasium and private office are located on the main deck in the space typically allocated for the master suite.
Arianna is powered by twin 1,650hp Caterpillar 3512B engines giving a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and a range a 5,000 nautical miles at 13 knots. Special features include an elevator giving access to all decks, including the sundeck.
We reported in November 2011 that SG Private Wealth Advisors provided a financing solution for the yacht, and Dovi Frances, co-founder of SG Private Wealth Advisors confirmed that they also oversaw the construction: 'From the start of the project, SG Private Wealth Advisors has overseen all elements of the design and build process for Arianna and we are extremely excited that her owner has chosen us to manage all of her marketing efforts.'
Arianna is already undergoing her sea trials. She will be delivered in June, and is scheduled to appear at the next Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in October.
