The 40.05 metre sailing yacht Angel's Share, listed for sale by Jukka Kaukonen at KK Superyachts, has been sold with Stefano Roberti at Wally Yachts introducing the buyer.
Built by Wally Yachts and launched in 2009, Angel’s Share was sailed to the Lurssen yard in Germany in 2010 for an extensive rebuild immediately after purchase by the previous owners. New interiors were designed by Harrison Eidsgaard and outfitting of the interior was executed by Vedder GmbH in Germany. Exterior works during the refit included completely new teak decks and a new deck structure designed by Amanda Levete Architects in London. As a result of this extensive refit, she won the 2011 World Superyacht Award for Best Refit.
Her flexible accommodation allows for up to ten guests split across four cabins including a master suite, a VIP stateroom with two Pullman berths and two convertible cabins. Under power, a 450hp MAN engine gives her a cruising speed of 12 knots, and she was last refitted again in 2013.
The draft can be reduced to 4.5 metres to allow access to more isolated ports and bays, while the sail plan includes a self tacking jib for cruising mode and a 110% jib for a racing configuration. 11 tons of water ballast on either side ensure excellent sailing performance and feel for a 40 metre sailing yacht.
Angel's Share was asking €11,950,000.
