The third hull of the 47 metre Mengi Yay Virtus series has been sold in-house by David Legrand and Alain Auvare at Fraser.
The hull is currently under construction at Turkish yard Mengi Yay and marks the third sale in this series for Fraser. The Virtus 47 model is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and features an exterior design by VYD Studio. She sits below the 500 GT threshold with an interior configuration by Red Yacht Design.
The yacht is expected to be delivered at the end of spring 2023 and offers accommodation for up to ten guests split between a master suite and four further cabins. Meanwhile, the crew quarters allow for a crew of eight.
Highlights include port and starboard bay windows with folding balconies, a nine-metre beam, and an uncluttered deck with all toys and tenders hidden from view.
Elsewhere, the Virtus 47 boasts plentiful deck spaces, including a foredeck seating and sunbathing area. The sundeck is split between a spa pool and an area for sun loungers back aft, while the sheltered cockpit includes an aft-facing wrap of seating for great views out to sea.
Power will come from a pair of 1,450hp Caterpillar C32 diesel engines for a top speed of 14.5 knots. When trimmed back to a cruising speed of 12 knots, she boasts an impressive range thanks to a total fuel capacity of 55,260 litres.
The asking price of the Virtus 47 has been withheld.
