The 40.28 metre Royal Huisman sailing yacht Anakena has had a central agency change and is now listed for sale by Joost Goverts at Northrop & Johnson.
Designed by Ted Fontaine, she was built in aluminium to Lloyds class by Dutch yard Royal Huisman and delivered in 1996 as a world cruising ketch with her most recent refit in 2006.
Her John Munford interior is in a relaxed, classic theme accommodating six guests in three cabins comprising a master suite and two VIP suites, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
On deck, she is traditional, with two varnished deck houses connected by a cockpit and finished in teak. Here can be found a well-concealed wet bar, two cabins and communications equipment.
Anakena benefits from a hull reinforced for ice cruising (not Ice Class) and comes with beautifully crafted teak on board. In need of some upgrades, her owners are keen to hear offers. Under power, twin 570hp MTU diesel engines offer a cruising speed of 13 knots topping out at 14 knots.
Lying in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Anakena is asking €5,900,000.
