Rodriquez superyacht Ocean Emerald sold by Camper & Nicholsons

The 41 metre motor yacht Ocean Emerald is sold, with Adam-Michael Papadakis at Camper & Nicholsons representing both buyer and seller in the deal.

Ocean Emerald was built in aluminium by Italian yard Rodriquez to a design by British architect Norman Foster & Partners and is both RINA classed and MCA compliant, with delivery in 2009. She was designed with a strong emphasis on space and light and has five suites for up 12 guests.

Throughout the yacht’s interior, the architects maximised the amount of natural light by incorporating extensive floor- to-ceiling windows and walls of light-coloured hardwoods with high-gloss finishes.

The design is most successful in the airy master suite, a full-beam area with two private terraces. Further accommodation is provided in two double VIP staterooms and two twin cabins, each with a Pullman berth, and all staterooms have full en suite facilities.

The panoramic saloon on the upper deck has coconut husk fibre flooring, evoking the laid-back interior style of a beach house while twin 1,400hp Caterpillar engines give her a range of 2,400 miles at 12 knots.

Ocean Emerald was asking €5.5 million.
