The 28.96 metre motor yacht Carpe Diem, listed for sale by David Nichols at Bradford Marine Yacht Sales, has had a $200,000 price reduction.
Designed by Michael Peters Yacht Design, Carpe Diem was built in GRP by US yard Intermarine and delivered in 2001 with a major refit completed in July 2015. She is ABS classed and accommodates six guests in three cabins consisting of a full beam master suite, a VIP suite with a queen sized bed and a twin, all with entertainment systems, plasma television screens and en suite shower facilities.
The interior, designed by Pavlik Design has blonde anigre high gloss wood panelling contrasting with off-white pile carpeting and has Magilite ceiling panels. The main deck saloon has large windows to welcome natural light and offers formal dining for six guests. Adjacent to the dining area is a lounge with a large U-shaped settee to starboard and a marble-topped bar to port along with a sophisticated entertainment centre including a 50 inch Pioneer plasma television screen and a stairway down to the guest accommodation.
A spacious aft deck has al fresco entertaining and dining and features a euro style transom, a comfortable settee with a table aft and a bar to starboard. The swim platform, aft stairs and aft deck are sheathed in teak while the side, forward and flybridge decks are in white non-skid Awlgrip.
The wheelhouse of this yacht for sale has access to the flybridge with plenty of shaded seating under a double Bimini top – new in July 2015 - plus a helm forward and a bar to port with four fixed stainless steel barstools. Twin 1,350hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 16 knots.
Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Carpe Diem is down to $2,450,000.
