The 55.7 metre sailing superyacht Burrasca has been listed for sale with Nizar Tagi of MYR (Marinas Yachts Realty).
Burrasca was built by Italian yard Perini Navi to a design by Ron Holland. She was delivered in 2003 to ABS class. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in a master suite, two double and two twin cabins plus two Pullman berths. All cabins have en suite bathroom facilities. There are crew quarters for nine in five cabins. Among many luxurious amenities for guests, there is a fully equipped gym, sauna and steam room.
The first of Perini Navi’s 56 metre series of ketch-rigged yachts, Burrasca has a proven sailing performance and handling which is paired with luxurious yet flexible accommodation.
An aluminium hull rather than the yard’s former choice of steel, combined with a lines plan optimised by Ron Holland and a deep, ballasted centreboard, gives her an improved sailing performance over her Perini predecessors.
She was refitted in 2007 and 2014 with continual upgrades throughout 2015 and 2016. The Perini Navi sailing yacht for sale is presently at NCA Refit undergoing a further refit and 20-year ABS survey. As a part of the survey, Burrasca’s rigging is being completely upgraded, mechanical systems being serviced, engines overhauled and two new generators being installed.
Under power, twin new Caterpillar engines give Burrasca a range of 3,750 nautical miles at 13 knots. The 497GT ketch has had one owner since new and was the winner of the first Perini Navi Cup in 2004.
Burrasca, lying in Marina di Carrara, Italy, is asking €15,000,000.
