The 54.9 metre motor yacht Steel has changed central agencies and is now listed for sale by Burgess.
With exterior design by Burness Corlett, Steel was built in steel and aluminium by British yard Pendennis to Lloyds Ice class and delivered in 2009 as the largest yacht built by the yard. A retro style interior in Cuban mahogany by Liebowitz & Pritchard accommodates up to 19 guests in seven cabins laid out as a midships master suite, VIP suite and four twins with Pullman berths. There is also a nanny cabin on the lower deck and all cabins have entertainment centres, flat screen television sets and marble en suite bathroom facilities. There is also accommodation for 12 crew in six cabins aboard this yacht for sale.
The spacious main saloon comes complete with comfortable furniture, an entertainment centre, bar and a cigar humidor, along with a separate ‘train carriage’ breakfast bench for casual snacks. This stylish space can also be turned into a home cinema with ease. For formal dining, there is grand room with seating for 12 featuring high ceilings and large windows giving panoramic views.
Exterior features include an imposing high prow, a hydraulic Rondal elevating crow’s nest, expansive sundeck, hydraulic side beach platforms, an active-current spa pool, sophisticated boarding systems, and a sculptural rounded canoe stern. Twin 1,100hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a remarkable range of 5,190 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots and she is fitted with four sets of Quantum zero speed stabilisers.
Available to view at the Pendennis yard in Falmouth, Cornwall, Steel is asking €27.5 million.
