The 53 metre Oceanco motor yacht Sunrise, jointly listed for sale by Cecil Wright & Partners with Merle Wood & Associates, has been sold with Hans Van Doornmalen of Edmiston & Company introducing the buyer and the buyer's representative Martyn Worms of Camberley International.
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Oceanco to a design by The A Group, Sunrise was delivered in 2000. She has since had several refits, most notably in 2012 when she was fitted with Quantum zero-speed stabilisers. Accommodation is for 12 guests split across six cabins.
The split-level owner’s suite is a particularly notable feature for a yacht of this size, offering high levels of privacy. A forward-facing sleeping area has 180 degree views through one-way glass, leading out onto a private owner’s deck with Jacuzzi forward. This suite also has an exceptionally large bathroom to port with separate bath and shower. To starboard there is a spacious private study which is equipped with all the latest IT and TV/AV equipment.
Five well-appointed and light-filled en-suite staterooms provide further accommodation for ten guests, while an additional cinema/games room is ideally suited for overspill accommodation and could easily be converted into a large additional guest cabin.
The exterior of this yacht for sale provides spacious comfortable decks with two spa pools and plentiful areas for lounging and dining. Expansive windows create a bright and elegant interior styled with limed oak panelling, mirrors and glass that increase the sense of light and space.
Twin 1,714hp MTU diesel engines give her a range of 5,100 nautical miles at 12 knots and she is Lloyd's classed and MCA compliant.
Sunrise was asking €14,500,000.
