The 44.2 metre NQEA motor yacht Horizons II, listed for sale by Burgess, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Built in aluminium by Australian yard NQEA to a design by Don Shead, she was delivered in 2004 and most recently refitted in 2020. Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins comprising an owner's suite, full beam and forward on the main deck, while on the lower deck lie a VIP cabin and two doubles, all with en suite bathroom facilities.
With an internal volume of 458GT, she has impressive guest deck spaces throughout. Her sun deck has a C-shaped lounge forward that doubles as an open air dining option. Moving aft there is a raised Jacuzzi with a sit-up wet bar and further aft is a versatile space that can be used for sun loungers, exercise equipment, yoga or entertainment.
Her upper deck sky lounge has excellent natural light through near full-height windows that wraparound aft, creating an outdoor feel. Aft is relaxed lounge seating, forward is a fully equipped bar, there is a 55-inch television screen on the forward bulkhead and a day head off the lobby.
Twin 3,700hp MTU diesel engines give her a top speed of over 20 knots and a maximum range of 2,300 nautical miles at her passage speed of 14 knots.
Horizons II was asking $8,900,000.
