M/Y RENA’s illustrious history was born out of the Australian shipyard of NQEA and designed by legendary Naval Architect, Jack Hargrave. As NQEA was known for designing ocean going, stable ships; the team seemed a match made in Heaven.
The dream was to build a 130' full displacement, aluminum vessel with worldwide cruising capabilities and a shallow enough draft to enter most anchorages and marinas. The original build came to be known as M/Y EASTWIND and this set in motion a succession of world traveling excursions with stellar ownership.
In 1994, RENA received a 15' extension at the Palmer Johnson shipyard and has been continually maintained to the highest standards. Throughout the years cruising on the world's oceans the vessel was also known as NETANYA IV and Curt-C.The current owners have cherished RENA for the last 15 years. RENA can comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests in 5 staterooms. She also boasts an on deck VIP stateroom and expansive deck spaces for sun lounging and toys galore.
