The 25.5 metre explorer yacht Indian, listed for sale by Richard Higgins at Camper & Nicholsons International, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Nelson Yacht Services.
Designed by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tec, Indian was built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard Cantieri di Pesaro and is certified to RINA Category A Unrestricted Navigation with delivery in 2008 as one of the yard’s Naumachos 82 series. Accommodation is for up to nine guests in four cabins comprising a full-beam master suite, VIP suite and two twins plus a Pullman berth. All guest cabins have entertainment centres and en-suite bathroom facilities, while a further two cabins can sleep up to four crewmembers.
Designed for long periods at sea, Indian has virtually unlimited freshwater production, large freezers, refrigerators and well-equipped internal and external galleys, huge overall storage capacity, and robust systems throughout. Maximum navigation safety is guaranteed, allowing sailing in wind strengths greater than force eight and wave heights above four metres. Combined with an efficient hydraulic stabilising system — zero-speed and underway — total comfort at sea is assured.
The same owner from new has refitted her twice, ensuring full classification compliance and a superb overall condition. The last refit, in 2016/17, was a full mechanical and cosmetic one including a full repaint and the zero-hour refitting of the main engine.
Power comes from a 700hp Baudouin diesel engine delivering a cruising speed of 10.5 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles. A Nanni diesel auxiliary engine provides owners with additional assurance generating 6.5 knots of speed at just 20 litres per hour fuel consumption.
Indian was asking €2,850,000.
