The 30.5 metre sailing yacht Antares Avance has been listed for sale by Jochen Brill at Northrop & Johnson.
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Jongert to RINA class, Antares Avance was delivered in 1991 as a Jongert 3000S model and was refitted in 2007 and 2011. A classic interior by Peter Sijm using light oak panelling along with fine fabrics accommodates eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite, a double and two twins, all with entertainment centres, flatscreen television sets and full en-suite facilities. In addition, the double cabin can be transformed into an owner’s office in moments. There is also accommodation for four crew in two cabins aboard this yacht for sale.
The saloon is a cosy area for relaxation, offering a U-shaped settee and dining area to starboard with seating space for six guests, while to port is a sophisticated entertainment centre including a large flatscreen television set and a Bose stereo surround sound system.
On deck, her two cockpits give ample room for both keen sailors and guests simply along for the relaxing ride, with the aft cockpit boasting padded seating and an al fresco bar. A popular charter yacht, her tender and water toys are stored in the stern garage and can be easily launched from the hydraulically operated swimming platform. Under power, a 300hp MTU diesel engine gives her a range of 2,000 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 9.5 knots.
