The 29 metre explorer yacht Miss Sarah J has been listed for sale by George M Hapipis and Efthimis Karalis at A1 Yachting in Greece.
A classic aft raised pilothouse yacht, Miss Sarah J was built in steel and aluminium by Brazilian yard Inace to a design by Michael Kirschstein and delivered in 2003. She was then refitted in 2007, also by Inace, with a bulbous bow, helicopter reinforced deck and a 1.5 metre stern extension with hydraulic passerelle. In 2008/2009 a new, knowledgeable owner and captain totally refitted this yacht for sale from top to bottom.
Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins, all with entertainment centres, flatscreen television sets and en suite bathroom facilities, while a further two cabins sleep three crewmembers.
She boasts a main saloon compete with a homely seating area. Light sofas lie adjacent to the dining area, with leather sofa seating on one side and a stunning contemporary table. There is also a sophisticated entertainment centre featuring a Samsung 50-inch flatscreen television set on a rise and fall mechanism, and a Bose stereo sound system.
Her brokers advise that, although a previous owner used to carry a Robertson helicopter onboard, her current owner has never used the helicopter deck and that if a new owner wants to take advantage of this facility, the yard should be consulted first. Meanwhile, twin 365hp Caterpillar diesel engines power her to a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Lying in Athens, Greece, Miss Sarah J is asking $2,500,000.
