The 67.5-metre Icon, the flagship of Dutch yard Icon Yachts, has been sold with Stuart Larsen and Dennis Frederiksen of Fraser representing the seller and Jim McConville of Allied Marine bringing the buyer.
The yacht was delivered in 2010. Her clean lines and 1,295GT of volume are the work of British design studio RWD with interiors by Icon's Studio Linse. She is built on a steel hull, which was extended by five metres in 2014, with an aluminium superstructure.
A raised main deck pool is one of her many highlights with two panels of glass that allow natural light to flood the beach club below. A bar, gym, massage room and sauna are also found at this level. Forward of the pool is an al fresco dining area with a table (one of three spots on board) that sits laterally across the deck.
Icon's interior is bright and contemporary offering a calm environment for guests to unwind with a seven-stateroom layout sleeping 13 guests. The master suite is positioned on the main deck with stairs leading to a private lounge, a VIP suite is positioned on the upper deck, while the lower guest accommodations benefit from direct access to the beach club. Further accommodation sleeps a crew of 19.
She is fitted with Quantum zero-speed stabilisers and a pair of 2,480hp MTU engines delivering a cruising range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12.5 knots. She underwent a maintenance period in 2020 that saw her receive a fresh exterior repaint.
Icon had a last known asking price of €45,000,000.
