The 40.2-metre Horizon motor yacht Kajak has been sold in an in-house deal with Marcos Morjain of Reel Deal Yachts representing both buyer and seller.
Delivered in 2008 by the Taiwan-based shipyard, Kajak has undergone consistent updates and improvements, including comprehensive refits in 2018 and 2022. The yacht is built in GRP to a design by Juan Carlos Espinosa and constructed to DNV class for MCA compliance.
A tri-deck yacht, she features a beautiful interior in high gloss cherry joinery accented with marble, onyx and granite upgrades throughout. She accommodates up to 10 guests in five cabins including two full-beam master suites, one on the main deck and one on the upper deck with its own private deck, along with a VIP suite below with a king-sized bed, a double with a queen-sized bed and two twin cabins.
Formerly named Lady Leila, her notable features include a commercial stainless steel galley, spacious outdoor aft decks and an air-conditioned dayhead. Upon entering the main salon, guests are greeted by Kajak's spaciousness and U-shaped couch, comfortable chairs and a well-appointed bar, while forward is a formal dining area.
Up top, the sundeck features a Jacuzzi, sunpads, bar, barbeque and an upper dining area. With a large garage for tender and toy storage and a spacious swim platform, guests can also expect endless enjoyment and relaxation.
The 399 GT yacht is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, giving her a cruising speed of 11 knots and top speed of 13 knots. She is equipped with all the large yacht options, including zero-speed stabilisers, a bow thruster, twin 80kW generators and watermakers.
