Heesen's 50 metre aluminium superyacht Project Altea has been sold with the buyer introduced by Franco Ambrosi of Zarpo Yachts.
She comes in at just under 500GT and was begun by Heesen as a speculative build featuring contemporary exterior design penned by Frank Laupman’s Omega Architects.
The interior accommodates a total of 12 guests in six cabins. The Cristiano Gatto-designed interior features stained Canaletto and American walnut veneers for the flooring and walls, as well as textured leathers and custom carpets.
Due for delivery in May 2021, she will be powered by a pair of MTU 12V2000 M72 engines for a top speed of 19.5 knots and a range of 3,750 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots.
The asking price of Project Altea has been withheld.
