The 47.1-metre motor yacht Berilda has been sold with Ken Bracewell of BR Marine Group and Andrew LeBuhn of Camper & Nicholsons representing the seller and Stuart Larsen and Lon McCluskey of Fraser introducing the buyer.
Berilda was delivered in 2001 by Dutch shipyard Feadship, constructed in steel and aluminium to a classic design from De Voogt with traditional-styled interiors by John Munford. She underwent an extensive refit from 2020 to 2021, with works including a full exterior repaint and the completion of her 20-year Lloyd's survey.
Accommodation on board the motor yacht is for up to 14 guests in six cabins including the owner's suite, which is home to an en suite children's "mini-cabin" as well as a study and walk-in wardrobe. On the lower deck, guests can enjoy two queen-sized double cabins and two twin cabins with Pullman berths. Additionally, there are quarters for a crew of 10 on board.
Berilda's interior is characterised by rich Honduran mahogany panelling, "plush carpeting" and pale soft upholstery, resulting in a classical yet homely ambience. The spacious main saloon leads to a formal dining room forward, while the bridge deck's lounge and bar open out to a large al fresco dining table.
Meanwhile, up on the sundeck, guests can watch the big screen television from the sit-up wet bar or cool off in the Jacuzzi forward, where there are also ample sunpads.
Twin Caterpillar diesel engines power the 499GT motor yacht to a maximum speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 4,600 nautical miles at 10 knots. She also benefits from zero-speed stabilisers.
Berilda was last asking $17,950,000.
