Feadship motor yacht Azteca for sale

15 November 2021 • Written by Malcolm Maclean

The ground-breaking 46.6 metre Feadship motor yacht Azteca has been listed for sale by Nathan Farrelly at Edmiston & Company.

Azteca was built in aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to a radical design by Jon Bannenberg and delivered to her Mexican owner in 1983. In 1997, she had a 1.5 metre stern extension at Feadship’s Royal Van Lent and was most recently upgraded in 2021. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a spit level master suite with independent access to the main deck, a main deck VIP suite, a further VIP suite on the lower deck and two twins, all with en-suite bathroom facilities.

Azteca is asking €3,250,000

The interiors of this yacht for sale are no less radical and feature cocoons of butter-soft, over-stuffed kid leather panels offset with hammered metal detailing and kilometres of thick polished Perspex handrails and details.

The bridge deck has an aft section storing two tenders of up to 8.5 metres each, while the forward section features a bar area and al fresco dining for up to 20 guests with an extendable table. The table can also be lowered to form a shaded sun bed.

Special features include a glass-roofed solarium on the top deck and a snug, forward-facing observation saloon. Twin 1,950hp MTU diesel engines allow a maximum speed of 30 knots and a range of 1,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Azteca is asking €3,250,000.
