The 44.2-metre classic Feadship motor yacht Valeria – currently stripped back, mid refit and ready for finishing – is now being sold "as is" as opposed to post-refit. Listed with Valeria Alekhina of TWW Yachts, the yacht has had €6,000,000 shaved off her original asking price to reflect this. She provides her next custodian with the opportunity to helm a full-scale rebuild operation and customise the yacht significantly to bring a classic Feadship up to modern standards.
Delivered by Feadship De Vries in the Netherlands in 1975, as Lac II, the steel-hulled yacht, with aluminium superstructure, is now located at the Dutch Balk Shipyard. Valeria's new interior design is by Design Unlimited of the UK and the De Voogt exterior's timeless design has been retained by project naval architects at Laurent Giles and De Voogt.
The broker pointed out that "once the rebuild is complete, Valeria will be fully MCA compliant, transformed into a new Feadship with classic lines", adding that the 360GT classic yacht for sale "has already been granted a place in the Feadship Heritage Fleet upon completion".
Powered by twin 950hp Caterpillar engines, the nearly-50-year-old classic has a cruising speed of 13 knots, topping out at 15 knots. Economical speed is 10 knots.
Valeria is now asking €9,000,000.
