The 38.4 metre motor yacht Andrea, listed for sale by Jeremy Comport atOcean Independence, has been sold in-house with the buyer introduced by Lukas Stratmann.
Built in GRP by US yard Delta Marine to a design by Michael Kirschstein, Andrea was delivered in 2003 and has had the same owner since new. Lloyds classed and MCA compliant, accommodation is for up to 12 guests in five well-appointed cabins including a full beam master suite on the main deck while below are two VIP suites and two twin cabins, each with a Pullman berth. All guest cabins have entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities, while the crew quarters sleep eight staff.
The main deck saloon and dining room are formal, vibrant, and inviting, with large opening windows, and fine woodworking in light veneers. Spanish furnishings, hand-painted tiles, custom glasswork, and Art Deco details embellish the interior.
There is ample room for al fresco partying on the flybridge under the large aluminium Bimini top, with a comfortable U-shaped upholstered seating area and table, or among several more settees around the helm. A built-in barbecue, service bar and dumbwaiter help to facilitate casual meals on this deck. Her top speed is 14 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 6,000 nautical mile at 12 knots with power coming from two 775hp Caterpillar 3508-B diesel engines.
