The 42.6 metre motor yacht Avant Garde 2, listed for sale by Burgess, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Onur Erardag at Nautique Yachting.
Built in GRP by Italian superyacht yard CRN Ancona to a design by Zuccon International Project, Avant Garde 2 was delivered in 2010 as one of the popular CRN 43m series and is RINA classed and MCA compliant. She has unrivalled volume for a yacht of her length and offers versatile living and entertaining areas both inside and on deck, all with tasteful styling. In addition, an extensive refit in 2016 saw the installation of a brand-new contemporary interior by rising design star Laura Pomponi.
She has accommodation for up to 11 guests in a five cabin layout configured as a master suite, three double cabins and a twin cabin with a Pullman berth. Notably, the master suite on the main deck has a private balcony with a table and chairs for al fresco dining. All cabins have full en suite facilities while nine crew are accommodated in five cabins aboard this yacht for sale.
The overall design is arranged into spacious, open areas across four decks. The sun deck is equipped with large umbrellas while the interiors of the yacht feature clean, geometrical lines, silk carpeting and fine marbles. In addition, the interior is embellished in light tones, which include grey and taupe, and brushed red pinewood is contrasted with the wenge wood used for cupboard finishings. An integrated audio-video system, planned together with Videoworks and Intel, gives the owner the possibility to better exploit the entertainment and closed-circuit TV surveillance devices on board.
Twin 1,400hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Naiad zero speed stabilisers ensure comfort and safety.
Avant Garde 2 was asking €10,450,000.
