The 31 metre motor yacht Babbo has been sold by the second-hand division of Italian yard Cantiere delle Marche to an Australian buyer.
Launched in 2016, Babbo was the second Darwin Class 102 yacht to be delivered.
Babbo has a user-friendly layout with a 25 metre square garage to accommodate many toys and dive centre seats. The aft platform can house a five metre tender, with another 6.3 metre tender stowed on the upper deck.
The interior of Babbo, designed by Simon Hamui and PFA Design, has a contemporary feel with much of the interior furniture coming from Italian brands such as Flexform, Baxter and Dedon.
Like her sisterships, Babbo is designed to withstand the strongest of elements and navigate easily in extreme weather, even if experiencing winds over 50 knots, for example. With naval architecture and exterior design by Hydro Tec, Babbo has a maximum speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of 11.5 knots. Powered by two 1340hp Caterpillar engines, she is capable of a 4,700 nautical mile range at 9.5 knots.
Babbo was asking €8,000,000.
