The 38.7-metre motor yacht Gladius has been sold with John Jacobi of Fraser representing the seller and Stamatis Konstantos of Yacht Broker House representing the buyer.
Built in GRP (to ABS classification) by Italian yard Cantieri di Pisa and delivered in 2007, the Akhir 125 model was refitted in 2023, including "major technical and interior upgrades". Her in-house design sports a low profile, especially thanks to the dark tinted windows and black-painted stripe on her superstructure.
Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in five cabins, the interior being designed by Carlo Paladini. There are quarters for a crew of eight. With a raised pilothouse, Gladius boasts two saloons. A media lounge is located on the main deck and the yacht benefits from Starlink satellite communications.
On deck, a Jacuzzi is positioned up on the flybridge, where there are two dining tables and a bar. There is a beach club and tender garage aft.
The 261GT yacht has a top speed of 24 knots and cruising speed of 15 knots, under twin 2,774hp MTU engines. She has a proven track record on the charter market and the broker pointed out that her low 1.85-metre draught makes her ideal for cruising in the shallows of the Bahamas, but that she is also at home island-hopping in the Mediterranean.
Gladius' range is between 600 and 1,250 nautical miles according to speed and she benefits from at-anchor and underway stabilisers.
Gladius was last asking €4,495,000 and lying in Fort Lauderdale, USA.
